The Heat, Air, and Moisture (HAM) House is designed to be used during presentations of building science principles. It demonstrates how heat, air, and moisture move through a building, and how these three things affect living environments. Developed by CHP's Anthony Cox, the model is an aid in teaching potential solutions to issues involving moisture, comfort, and health.
The HAM House is constructed of insulated panels and polycarbonate. The following is included with the HAM House:
Case
Heat and moisture producing props
Temperature, relative humidity, and dew point meter
Non-contact infrared thermometer
Access to training videos
(Note: A manometer is not included with the HAM House.)
CHP Energy Solutions promotes healthier, safer, more energy efficient built environments by providing energy audits, inspections, energy performance upgrades, and building science education.
