Please introduce yourself and share a bit about your background in property management.

My name is Edith Coleman Mosley. I’ve been in property management for 38 years, eight years with Community Housing Partners.

How long have you been managing this property?

I’ve been at Belford Commons for three years.

What makes this property unique or distinctive within the community?

It’s affordable and sustainable. It’s a senior property, so the residents are looking for a home that they can afford where they can be comfortable.

If the property had a personality, how would you describe it in a few words?

Friendly, helpful, and grateful.

What’s the most unique feature of this property that residents love?

I think they enjoy mostly sitting on their porch areas, visiting with neighbors, and planting flowers outside of their homes.

Can you share any success stories or positive feedback from residents?

I think residents like it here because they are with other people their age and they are still able to be independent in their own homes.

Can you share a life hack or clever solution you’ve discovered for common resident needs?

Mostly, if they have issues, you just have to listen to them and be proactive with their concerns and needs. A lot of times if they’re upset about something but you listen to them, they’ll be able to relax.

What is something you like or appreciate about the community?

I love my residents and I love that this community creates a sense of belonging for them. I like being there to be able to provide them with whatever they need.

What qualities make this property a great place to call home?

The personal connection and the community. The property is also close to local businesses, it’s affordable, and it’s in a friendly neighborhood.
